- Canada and USA: Ride for Refuge 2011
We want to thank all of you who participated in Ride For Refuge this year - whether in riding, prayer or both. We are very thankful for your gracious giving and praise the Lord for such a wonderful response. We exceeded our target of $100,000 - raising just short of $150,000. A special 'thank you' to Paul who worked so hard promoting this event. Looking for more info? Click here.

Ratanak International began working in Cambodia in 1990, when fear was palpable and international isolation was almost complete. Brian McConaghy, Founding Director of Ratanak International, first visited the Cambodian refugee camps in Thailand in 1989. What he witnessed appalled him! A subsequent visit to Cambodia revealed conditions worse than those in the camps. Many projects have been undertaken since 1990 and have resulted in both Canadian and Cambodian national awards.

Ratanak International finances and monitors carefully selected projects each year and produces a regular newsletter to keep supporters fully informed. Ratanak International keeps administrative costs to a minimum, thus maximizing our resources for projects in Cambodia.
